Woods’ wife, Jennifer, who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, has a rare form of the disease that has not been fully identified.
Woods’ attorney, Bob King, said the golfing legend has not spoken to his wife about her condition.
“The only thing I can say is, he hasn’t had any contact with his wife,” King said Friday.
King said his client has not sought a second opinion about whether the condition is genetic or caused by his stress levels.
He said he has never met Jennifer Woods and has not heard of the condition.
The golfing icon has been a regular visitor to his Palm Beach estate, Tiger Resorts International Golf Links.
It was one of the last resorts that Woods owned before his wife’s diagnosis.
He has not played golf since her death.
A spokeswoman for Woods’ Palm Beach County estate said he had been in the area since last Friday and had been staying at a hotel near his home.
